Steam Train Mural

The 250-foot mural by trendsetting artist Ed Trask stands two-stories tall, featuring a historic steam engine, Ashland’s landmarks, rails, and freight cars. The mural stands alongside the modern railroad tracks carrying more than 40 freight and passenger trains through town daily.

The interpretive kiosk at Stop 4 invites visitors to imagine the rumble and roar of steam engines that passed through the heart of Downtown Ashland, as discussed in the video below.
